By Thakur Prasad Acharya, Myagdi, Oct.31: A rescue team deployed in Mustang has found 15 hikers, including three foreign nationals, who were on a Round Dhaulagiri trek through Mudi, Dhaulagiri Rural Municipality-4, Myagdi.
Fifteen people, including three British female tourists, were stranded in the Hidden Valley of Mustang due to snowfall that began on Monday while they were descending the Dhaulagiri mountain range.
Chief District Officer of Mustang Bishnu Prasad Bhusal said that a joint rescue team, including Nepali Army, Armed Police Office, Nepal Police from Mustang, found the stranded trekkers on Friday morning.
He said, "A team of 15 people and a team including the Nepali Army have met at a place called Tapse danda, at an altitude of 12,800 feet. This morning they also had a collective lunch. The health condition of the tourists is also good. Now they are about to come to a place called Yak Kharka.
