Ranjha (Banke), Oct 30: Construction of a four-lane concrete bridge has begun over the Pedari canal located at Khajura Rural Municipality-3 under the Nepalgunj-Gulariya road section.
According to Krishna Pandey, Information Officer at the Postal Highway Directorate, Planning Office in Nepalgunj, an agreement has been signed with the construction company to build a four-lane concrete bridge for Rs 89.63 million. An agreement has been signed to complete the construction in six months.
The bridge is being made four-lane, so it will be easier for the general public of Banke and Bardiya to travel during the rainy season. There is already an old bridge, but has is dilapidated and required a replacement.(RSS)
