Online, Kathmandu, Oct 29: The Gen Z representatives have emphasized that the
government should move ahead the agenda of taking action against the corrupt
and ensuring good governance at par with the agenda of holding the election to the
House of Representatives (HoR).
The Gen Z representatives
expressed their views at a tripartite discussion among the political parties,
the government and the Gen Z representatives held at Baluwatar.
According to information provided by Prime Minister Sushila Karki’s secretariat, the Gen Z representatives laid stress on importance of HoR election and also on action against the corrupt and ensuring good governance.

“HoR election
is needed, should be held, but we can’t go along only reciting election and
election. Main demand of our movement is good governance, and action against
corruption,” PM’s secretariat quoted Gen Z representatives as saying, “The
government should take both of these agenda together.”
The tripartite meeting is called by PM Sushila Karki.

PM Karki
urged all to exchange views as the meeting is the start of dialogue among all. “Country
is ours. It is us to make, develop it. No one will build it. Only one dialogue is
never sufficient, it should be held frequently. We have started it today. I
open the floor for all to put forth views,” PM Karki said in the opening of the
meeting.
