Home Minister visiting Madhesh to take updates of peace, security and electoral preparations

Kathmandu, Oct 26: Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal will be visiting the Madhesh Province to take updates of peace and security situation and the electoral preparations.

He will be leaving here for Janakpur on Monday along with Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies and for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Anil Kumar Sinha, Minister for Youth and Sports, Bablu Gupta, and Home Secretary Rameshwor Dangal, according to the Prime Minister's Press Coordinator Ram Bahadur Rawal.

Minister Aryal will stay there till Tuesday and will also engage in an interaction with chiefs of government offices and attend the Chhath programme.

The fresh election of the House of Representatives (HoR) has been announced for March 5, 2026. (RSS)
