Minister Gupta assumes office

Kathmandu, Oct 26: Newly appointed Minister for Youth and Sports, Bablu Gupta, assumed office on Sunday.     

Upon the assumption of office at Singha Durbar, Minister Gupta signed a minute of decision to ensure the live broadcast of all meetings of the bodies under the Ministry. He pledged to focus on action rather than talks for the development of the sports sector.     

Minister Gupta, who hails from Lahan city of Siraha district, is also the leader of the Gen Z movement. He has been equally active in social service. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he launched a free meal campaign, and he continues to engage in educational initiatives through Hundred Group, a non-profit, non-governmental organization.(RSS)
