Nepal participates in Traditional Archery competition

Kathmandu, Oct 26: Nepal has participated in the Falcon Cup International Traditional Archery invitational competition and the 10th 'Zhengji Cup' Archery invitational competition held in Lijiang city, Yunnan province, China.

According to Kathmandu Zhengji Traditional Archery, 160 players from Hungary, Thailand, Myanmar, and Nepal, as well as from locations in China including Guangdong, Shandong, Chongqing, Anhui, Qinghai, Tianjin, Hong Kong, and Yunnan provinces such as Kunming, Qujing, Fumin, Dali, Lijiang, and Shangri-La, participated in the competition.

Rajiv Maharjan, the secretary of Kathmandu Zhengji Traditional Archery and Martial Arts Association, participated from Nepal.

Maharjan said that the Sports Institute of Yunnan University, the Traditional Archery Association of Yunnan, and the Kunming Zhengji Archery Club have expressed their commitment to cooperate in supporting traditional archery, Wushu, and wrestling in Nepal. (RSS)
