By TRN Online, Kathmandu, oct 17: The Central Committee meeting of the CPN (UML) has decided to hold the party’s 11th general convention on 13-15 December in Pokhara.
Talking to the media persons after the CC meeting, UML publicity department chief Rajendra Prasad Gautam said that the CC meeting also decided to manage for new leadership of the party through the general convention.
The CC meeting that started on Wednesday and concluded today
passed some 22 proposals, among them is also the conclusion that the incumbent
government is not heading toward holding the election, according to Gautam, “Therefore
the CC meeting has decided to demand for reinstatement of the House of
Representatives (HoR) so as to prevent possible chaos.”
