President Deuba to address central working committee meeting today

Lalitpur, Oct.14: President of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba has addressed the central working committee meeting starting today.

During the Gen Z movement, on September 9, Deuba, in his residence in Budhanilkantha, was attacked and his house was set on fire.

He had to have 12 stitches on his neck during treatment. This is the first public appearance of President Deuba after the incident. 

Party Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel said, "President Sher Bahadur Deuba will address the Central Working Committee meeting today. After that, it will be decided how the meeting will proceed."

There has been a heavy presence of media personnel after the news of President Deuba's public appearance was received.
