Communications Ministry requests for dissemination of information effectively

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct 4: The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology has requested all the communication service providers to make the communication service effective.

In the meeting held today at the ministry in the presence of the Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel, all the concerned agencies were requested to get prepared for the challenge of the potential disruption in communication infrastructures amid the heavy rainfall.  

The minister said that all the communication service providers must be ready to ensure precise, fast and true information to the citizens. He said that the coordination role of communication sector is very essential in the time of disaster.
