10 injured in Kapilvastu road mishap

By Narad Kohar, Taulihawa (Kapilvastu), Sept.24: As many as 10 people have sustained injuries when a bus heading from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj met with an accident on the East-West Highway at Umarichowk, Shivraj Municipality -1, Kapilvastu District.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Kapilvastu, Ripendra Kumar Singh, the bus (Ga 1 Kha 9700) en route from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj has met with an accident at Umari Chowk.

He said that 10 of the 35 passengers on the bus have sustained injuries. 

"The injured are undergoing treatment at the Sanjivani Hospital in Chandrauta ", said Superintendent of Police Singh.

The bus lost control and overturned on the left side of the road. 

A detailed description of the accident is yet to be ascertained.
