4-year-old girl drowns
Surunga (Jhapa), Sept 22: A 4-year-old girl drowned in a stream, Sano Maikhola, in the district on Sunday.
The daughter of Man Bahadur Darji died after she drowned in the stream at Jhanti of Jhapa rural municipality-3, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police at District Police Office, Khagendra Bahadur Khadka.
She had gone missing since Sunday. The police persons found her drowned in the small river near the home.
Further investigation into the incident is continued. The lifeless body has been sent to Mechi Hospital for post mortem. (RSS)
