'National Assembly will always be active in fulfilling its constitutional duties'

Kathmandu, Sept 19: Chairman of the National Assembly, Narayan Prasad Dahal, has expressed the confidence that the National Assembly will always remain active to fulfill the responsibilities and constitutional obligations of Parliament in the current situation where the House of Representatives stands dissolved. 

He has expressed best wishes for happiness, peace, prosperity, and continuous progress to all Nepali sisters and brothers residing in the country and abroad on the occasion of Constitution Day, urging everyone to commit to the implementation of the constitution, protecting the achievements gained from the people's movements, and fully adhering to it.

The Chair of the upper house of the Federal Parliament also mentioned that there is a challenge to complete the elections on time as agreed between all parties, alongside the changes brought about by the Gen-Z movement, and to defend the constitution under the leadership of elected representatives once again.
