DAO Morang extends prohibitory, curfew orders

Morang, Sept 11: The District Administration Office (DAO), Morang, has issued a prohibitory order across the district to maintain peace and public order. The DAO made the announcement today through an official notice, which also states that that curfew that remains in effect from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am since September 9 shall be continued.

According to Chief District Officer (CDO) Indradev Yadav, the prohibitory and curfew orders have been in place since September 9, following the recent incidents arisen with Gen Z demonstrations. Lately, no untoward incidents have taken place in the district.

Nepali Army squads have been deployed and are presently patrolling streets and residential areas to ensure public safety and security. (RSS)
