A Gift Of Care

blog

Before this year, I didn’t know

How far a teacher’s care could go.

But then came you, with kindness bright,

Who saw my spark and brought it to light.

You didn’t just teach books and rules,

You brought compassion into school.

You listened close, you took the time

To really understand… that’s rare, Mrs. Clime.

You cheered my work, both big and small,

From library pics to history hall.

You told the world what I could do,

And helped me start believing too.

You spoke with others, reached my home,

Made sure I never felt alone.

A quiet voice, a steady guide,

You always stood right by my side.

And as I turn the page today,

With sixth grade slowly drifting away,

I’ll carry forward all you’ve taught,

Your faith in me, your care, your thought.

You changed my year in every part,

But more than that... you changed my heart.
