Four dead, six injured in Dadeldhura road mishap (identity ascertained)

By Puskar Bhandari, Dadeldhura, Aug.28: Four of the same ward died while six others sustained injuries when a jeep met with an accident in Chaud Navadurga Rural Municipality, Dadeldhura-5, a remote area of Dadeldhura, on Thursday morning. All four people who lost their lives have been identified.

 Four people from the same ward died, and six others were injured in the accident.

In a press release made public by the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, it is said that the identity of the deceased has been ascertained. 

 The deceased have been identified as Suresh Saud, aged 18, Suresh Parki, aged 23, Tara Awasthi, aged 40, and Kalawati Saud, aged 72, of Navadurga Rural Municipality-5.

Similarly, the injured are 18-year-old Sushila BK, 44-year-old Prakash BK, 48-year-old Chandra Bahadur Saud, 35-year-old Ram Bahadur Saud, 42-year-old Ganesh Bahadur Saud, and a four-year-old Pratika Parki.  All hail from Navadurga Rural Municipality-5.

According to Inspector of the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, Dambar Bista, the jeep, bearing registration number Se 1 Ja 738, traveling from Thada Bazaar towards Dadeldhura, met with an accident at 9:15 AM on Thursday. The jeep plunged about 500 meters down the road.
