Kathmandu, Aug. 27: The government has appointed Nirajan Bahadur Chalaune and Sunil Malla as members of the Trade and Export Promotion Development Committee for a three-year term, recognising their expertise in entrepreneurship, business, and international trade.
Chalaune, a young entrepreneur and trade expert hailing from Geruwa
Rural Municipality in Bardiya district, has previously served as an expert
member in the same committee for three years.
His reappointment reflects continued confidence in his experience and
contributions to promoting Nepal’s trade and export landscape.
Similarly, Malla from Kathmandu district is a young entrepreneur,
businessman and international trade expert.
Executive Director of the TEPC Sarad Bickram Rana presented appointment
letters to them and expressed his best wishes for their successful tenure.
The Trade and Export Promotion Development Committee plays a vital role
in advising and implementing national strategies to enhance Nepal’s trade
capacity, improve export performance, and integrate Nepali products into global
markets.
