Bhaivabi wins three medals for Nepal in Int'l Taekwondo Championship
Kathmandu, Aug 10: Bhaivabi Sapkota has won three medals including one gold medal in the 8th Heroes International Taekwondo Championship organised in Thailand.
More than 4,000 athletes of 27 different countries had participated in the two-day championship organised from August 9. The 10-year-old Bhaivabi won gold medal in speed kick category defeating competitors from the Philippines and Thailand.
However, Bhaivabi lost to Thailand in the semifinal under Kyorugi category and was thus limited to bronze medal. She also won a bronze medal by winning two-round games under Poomsae category.(RSS)
