Jumla, Aug 6: The Karnali Academy of Health Science (KAHS) has failed to provide x-ray services to the needy patients for a month.
Those in need of x-ray and ultrasound services are badly impacted for lack of the essential medical system, which is left unused for not having a skilled workforce in place.
Although there is an x-ray machine at the Hospital, it was left idle because there was no radiologist to operate it, according to Dr Dabal Bahadur Dhami, Officiating Vice Chancellor of KAHS. The Hospital has advertized for a radiologist but none had come in contact so far, he added.
However, the health facility informed that it brought to use the CT scan, who was also disrupted for a week.(RSS)
