Koshi Province passes bill on contribution-based pension fund

Biratnagar, July 27: A meeting of the Koshi Province Assembly (PA) on Sunday unanimously passed a bill relating to the establishment and operation of the contribution-based pension fund.     

Province minister for economic affairs and planning, Ram Bahadur Magar, tabled the bill and Speaker Ambar Bahadur Bista presented it before the PA for a decision.     

Meanwhile, Speaking at the session, province minister for tourism, forest and environment, Sadananda Mandal, took time to deny media reports alleging him of his involvement in corruption.     

"It is wrong to allege me of demanding 'money' from subordinate employees by sending QR code of my secretariat employee," the minister said. He demanded an investigation to find out facts surrounding the matter.(RSS)
