Patan Academy of Health Sciences Senate meeting: Budget of Rs 3.19 billion passed

Kathmandu, July 15: The 15th senate meeting of the Patan Academy of Health Sciences has approved a budget of Rs 3.19 billion for coming fiscal year 2025\26.     

The meeting presided over by Prime Minister and Chairperson of the Academy KP Sharma Oli at the latter's official residence at Baluwatar today passed the budget presented by Academy's Registrar Prof Dr Parash Kumar Acharya.     

The meeting also endorsed the amendment on the Academy's annual programmes.     

During the meeting, PM Oli called on the Academy's officials to expedite the process of clearing the arrears and providing quality services.     

At the instruction of Chancellor Oli, all Health Academies across the countries are submitting their proposed budget and annual programmes in the senate meetings before the new fiscal year begins from July 17.(RSS)
