Myagdi, July 3: A 366-metre-long suspension bridge was constructed over Darkhola (river) to connect Phaliyagaun and Dar villages in Dhaulagiri Rural Municipality-3, Myagdi. Initiated by Local Infrastructure Development Project, hanging bridge was built at Rs 23.13 million.
With the development of the bridge, the locals and tourists along the Dhaulagri Trekking Circuit have largely benefited as their travel was cut short.
Likewise, the villagers from Dar, Mudi, Khiwang, Nerwang, Bagar and Naura have been benefited since they don’t now have to travel a long distance along Muna village to reach the headquarters of their rural municipality.
The construction company completed the task six months earlier than the given deadline and handed it over to the Local Infrastructure Development Project Office. (RSS)
