UML General Secretary leaves for the UK

Kathmandu, June 12: CPN (UML) General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has left for the United Kingdom today.     

He left for the UK to participate in the UK convention of the International Nepali Forum along with UML Politburo member Sujita Shakya.     

While in UK, General Secretary Pokharel is scheduled to meet with members of the Nepali community as well as various diplomats, according to UML Central Member and Europe-America In-charge Ghanashyam Pandey.     

Likewise, from the UK, General Secretary Pokharel will fly to Qatar to participate in various programs of the UML Party's Overseas Committee in Qatar.     

General Secretary Pokharel is scheduled to return home on June 22.(RSS)
