Damauli (Tanahun), June 9: Around 53 per cent of construction works have been completed in the western section of the Mugling-Pokhara road expansion project.
Over half of the designated works have been completed from Jamun (Tanahun) to the Seti Bridge (Pokhara, Kaski), according to the Mugling Pokhara road project (western section).
Project chief Krishna Bahadur Kunwar informed that blacktopping has been done on both sides of a 24-km stretch, while a 12.8-km section has been blacktopped one way.
The remaining three kilometres are yet to be blacktopped one way in the western section, and it will be completed by mid-June, he shared.
Construction of ten out of 12 bridges has so far been completed in the western section, he said, adding that 92 out of 100 culverts have been constructed.
A total of 424 electric poles are to be removed in the section, which has also delayed the overall construction works, he shared. (RSS)
