Bhojpur, May 21: A free health camp was organized recently at Sikretar, Bhojpur, with the aim of reaching out to citizens in remote areas.
In the camp on ear diseases and
disability-related health issues, medicines were distributed free of charge to
those in need.
Rupak Magar, the Chief of the
Health Section at Arun rural municipality, said that similar health camps were
also conducted in other wards.
Jagat Shrestha, a resident of Arun
rural municipality-7, expressed his happiness for having access to free health
services through the camp. The Gorkha Welfare Trust organised the camp in
coordination with the local government.
Similarly, the local government has
contributed to an insurance premium for the government health insurance
programme for citizens. Out of the annual premium of Rs 3,500 per family, the
ward covers Rs 2,500. (RSS)
