By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, May 19: Writer Bipin Chandra Banepali has brought out a collection of ghazals titled 'Bismayako Gherabata' in Nepali.
Writers Mohan Duwal, Dhruba Madhikarmi, Indra Kumar Shrestha 'Sarit', Ishwar Budhathoki, Jayakumar Rai and Banepali himself made the book public amid a function in Kathamandu on Saturday.
In the function organised by Sirjana Abhiyan Bhaktapur, Duwal opined that the ghazals by Banepali are the meticulous example of meaningful ghazals with the balance of opinion and aesthetics. 'He can articulate much more with a few words in his ghazals,' Duwal said.
Madhikami said that Bipin's ghazals have the power to spellbind the readers, mentioning his words of defiance against social anomalies. "He has to improve his writing skill, yet some of his ghazals are spellbinding," he asserted.
Other speakers, incuding Sarit, Rai, Budhathoki, Prakash Thapa traced that Banepali could articulate complex plots in lucid language.
Published by Sirjana Abhiyan Bhaktapur, the collection consists of 57 ghazals of miscellaneous flavours. The 88 page book is priced at Rs. 250.
Also a short story writer and promising poet from Dattatreya, Bhaktapur, Banepali has, earlier, published 'Gham Jun Ramailo', a collection of children poems.
