Baitadi, May 18: Lack of anti-rabies vaccine in the district has forced the service recipients to go out of the district to get vaccinated.
There has been a shortage of
anti-rabies vaccine in the district hospital for the past three weeks, says
Harish Pant, Information Officer of the hospital. The Provincial Supply Center
has already been informed about the shortage of the vaccine.
Anit-rabies vaccination is
administered at the District Hospital, at Patan Primary Health Center and
Kesharpur Primary Health Center.
People need to get the anti-rabies
vaccine in case they are bitted by dogs, cats and other pets, as well as wild
animals such as foxes and wolves. (RSS)
