Youth rescued after suicide attempt by jumping in Seti River

Kathmandu, May 17: The Armed Police Force has rescued a young man who jumped into the Seti River from the Bridge in Prithvi Chowk, Pokhara Metropolitan City-10 on Friday night.

An unidentified youth, aged around 20-21, jumped and was rescued by a team of the Armed Police Force using rope rescue after an effort of about 45 minutes at 9:35 PM.

He was pulled out of the Seti River gorge approximately 100 meters below in a semi-conscious state.

He has been sent to Gandaki Medical College for treatment.
