By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 16: Minister for Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung has viewed that digital literacy was mandatory for achieving the objectives of digital framework.
Minister Gurung, also the government spokesperson,
said so while addressing a programme entitled 'Multi-stakeholder Discussion on
Digital Nepal Framework 2.0 and Way Forward' organized by CAN Federation.
Referring to low level of use of Nagarik app due to
lack of literacy, he said, "Digital literacy is needed to materialize digital
framework. We have to move forward literacy all along."
He also emphasized that it was the duty of the
government to build digital infrastructure and necessary policy.
