The Mayor of Mithila Municipality Mahendra Mahato, Chief of the District Coordination Committee Rajanandan Mandal, and Chairman of the Land Problem Resolution Commission Suresh Koirala among others distributed the land ownership registration certificates to them.

Mayor Mahato stated that the distribution of the red passbook will be carried out promptly after completing the legal process for those who were deprived of obtaining it.

On that occasion, the Commission Chairman Koirala urged all parties not to politicize the distribution of land ownership documents and emphasized the need to quickly resolve the issue of those who have been living on the land for a long time but do not have official ownership documents.

There are 75 village blocks in Dhanusha. The land measurement of 72 village blocks has been completed. Saha said that the distribution of the land ownership papers for twelve village blocks has been completed so far. (RSS)
