Budhathoki elected Chair of National Employees Organisation

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 11: Tilak Jung Budhathoki has been elected the Chair of the National Employees Organisation of Nepal, Corporation National Committee.

The third convention of the National Employees Organisation of Nepal, Corporation National Committee,  held on Saturday elected Budhathoki of Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) as Chairman, Bishnu Khanal of Gorkhapatra Corporation as senior vice-Chair, and Kapil Prasad Pant and Karan Bhandari of NTC and Abhimanyu Khadgi of DDC as vice-chairs.

Representatives from 13 state-owned Corporations elected the committee.

Speaking in the inaugural session of the convention, Rekha Sharma, standing committee member of the CPN (Maoist Center) urged the employees to focus on professional benefit and security as the team.

Also a member of House of Representatives (HoR) and former minister, Sharma highlighted that the Maoist Center was trying to consolidate its link with the grassroots people by means of campaigns such as Terai-Madhes Awareness Campaign and the Mid-hill Campaign.
