Dhorpatan (Baglung), May 8: Up-gradation of the Harichaur-Malma-Pandabkhani road section under the 'one constituency, one strategic road' plan has gained momentum.
According to the Road Division
Office, eight kilometers will be upgraded in the current fiscal year. The
up-gradation has begun at a cost of Rs 400 million received from the federal
government.
Sagar Bhandari, an engineer at the
office, told RSS that 70 percent of the work has been completed so far.
Out of the eight kilometers, four
kilometers have been ready for blacktopping.
In the remaining parts, works are
underway to widen the road, construct drains for drainage and tow wall.
The 40-km road which starts from
Harichaur of Galkot connects Pyuthan via Malm, Pandavkhani, Ramuwa
Ransinghkiteni, Bhimgithe, Darling and Nisikhola. (RSS)
