By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, May 5: Minister of State for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Kham Bahadur Garbuja has assumed his office.
Minister of State Kharbuja assumed office at the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation at Singha Durbar after taking oath of office and secrecy from Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Sunday.
Briefly talking to media persons after assuming his office, State Minister Garbuja said that he would work for the country and the people.
He said that everyone's support and cooperation was necessary to make the ministry successful.
On the occasion, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Dipak Khadka said that politicians should be directly accountable to the people.
He said that politicians have made many promises to the people and should work in a way that the people remember.
“We, politicians, have made many promises to the people, we have set many goals, we have to work from our respective fields to achieve the goals, politicians should work in a way that is directly accountable to the people,” said Minister Khadka.
He said that as their tenure is not permanent, they should work in a way that the people can directly feel.
Minister Khadka expressed confidence that the Minister of State will support and assist them in this as they have the responsibility to perform excellent work within limited resources and means.
