Nepathya to embark on US tour

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Apr. 30: After a successful tour of seven Australian cities and a recent performance in Gokarneshwor, Kathmandu, Nepathya is set to tour seven cities across the United States.

Known for connecting music lovers worldwide through a feeling of being Nepalis, this marks the band’s seventh US tour.

Last year, Nepathya performed in seven US cities over a month and a half.

According to a press release issued by Nepalaya, this time the band will visit new cities in the US.

The band will first perform in Texas on May 17.

On May 23, they will head north to Seattle, performing at the Moore Theater.

The tour continues to Los Angeles, where they will perform on May 26, then to Pittsburgh on May 31.

On June 7, they will perform in Chicago, followed by a performance in Boston on June 11.

The final show will be on June 14 at Piedmont Hall in Greensboro, North Carolina, according to Nepalaya.

Nepathya first toured the US in 2004, with performances in Phoenix and Washington, D.C., and has since performed in cities like New York, San Francisco, Atlanta, Dallas and Boston.

This year's tour is coordinated by Momo Entertainment and K Garira.

Lead singer Amrit Gurung will be joined by Dhruva Lama on drums, Subin Shakya on bass, Neeraj Gurung on guitar, Shanti Rayamajhi on drums and Dinesh Raj Regmi on keyboards.
