Employee of Rawa Besi Rural Municipality found dead

By Raj Kumar Bhattarai, Khotang, Apr.21: Mahesh Regmi, an office helper, at Rawa Besi Rural Municipality in Khotang district, was found dead, on Monday morning.

Regmi, aged 57, of Kubhinde, Rawa Besi Rural Municipality -1, was found dead in the garden of the village.  

Ward Chair-1 Gehendraman Rai said that Regmi was found dead in the field about 8-9 meters below the path, with his head down and his feet up.

He said it is heard that Regmi was in his brother's house around 8:30 pm on Sunday after having tea, and then walked away. 

He was found dead on Monday morning.

According to the District Police Office, Khotang, the office helper Regmi, appears to have died after falling off the off-road.

Police Inspector Sushant Mishra, who reached the scene from the District Police Office, Khotang, said that further details will be revealed after a thorough investigation into the incident.
