Kathamndu, Apr.8: Protests are scheduled to take place at various locations in Kathmandu today.
The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), the Nepal Teachers’ Federation, and cooperative and microfinance victims will demonstrate at three locations in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
The RPP is demonstrating a protest program in Balkhu, while the Nepal Teachers' Federation has staged a demonstration in Maitighar Mandala, and cooperatives and microfinance victims are demonstrating in Shanti Vatika.
Issuing a notice, the Nepal Police informed that they have arranged for the diversion of vehicles to facilitate traffic movement.
Releasing a notice on Tuesday morning, Nepal Police has given the descriptions of main locations where there will be vehicle diversions.
Khasi Bazar – Makalu – Kalanki Chowk – Bafal
Balkhu Chowk – Kuleshwor – Kalimati Chowk – Teku
Kirtipur – Sundarighat – Sanepa – Ekantakuna
Additional diversion points to be added if necessary
Chobhar, Pharping, Nakkhu Dobato, and Koteshwor.
Drivers of vehicles passing through the designated places fixed for demonstrations have been urged to use alternative routes.
