By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Mar. 31: Nepathya delivered musical performances in Sydney.
According to a press release issued by Nepalaya¸, the band performed at the ‘Hordern Pavilion,’ which was packed with an audience of 5,500 people, on Saturday evening.
Tickets for the concert were sold out three weeks in advance, read the press release.
Nepathya began their performance with the song Koshi Ko Pani.
Due to the overwhelming demand for Saturday’s show, an additional concert was scheduled for Sunday at the same venue, as mentioned in the press release.
“We are excited by the growing number of attendees in Sydney,” said Kiran Krishna Shrestha from Nepalaya.
Speaking while performing, Amrit Gurung, the lead singer of the band said, “Sydney has become like a second home to me. Every time we perform here, the energy we receive from the audience strengthens our confidence.”
During the concert, Amrit encouraged attendees to teach their children the Nepali language and contribute, as much as possible, to the education of underprivileged children in Nepal.
On stage, Amrit was accompanied by Dhruva Lama on Drums, Subin Shakya on Bass Guitar, Neeraj Gurung on Guitar, Shanti Rayamajhi on Madal, and Dinesh Raj Regmi on Keyboard.
After performing in Sydney, the band is scheduled to return to Nepal on Monday.
