Hostel 3 earns Rs. 43. 3 million

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Mar. 15: The producers of the film Hostel 3, which was released in theatres last Friday, have officially revealed its first-week box office collection.

 According to the publicly shared data, the film has grossed Rs. 43.2 million by Thursday.

Director Sushan Kandel said that the box office figures were derived from the DCR (Daily Collection Report) provided by distributors.

“According to the report we received from the distributors, Hostel 3 has grossed Rs. 43.2 million by Thursday," said Kandel.

According to him, the film has collected Rs. 23 million in Kathmandu Valley and Rs. 20.2 million outside the Valley.

Meanwhile, Hostel 3 was also released in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain from Thursday.

Artists including Paras Bam Thakuri, Simran Pant, Ashish Ghimire, Padam Tamang, Hena Nagarkoti, Rihan Giri, and Sama Parajuli have done the film.

The film's screenplay and dialogues were written by Madhav Sharma, who also worked as an associate director.

Shankar Koirala is the executive producer while  Suresh Kandel, Karna Karki, and Govinda Adhikari are producers.
