Land Revenue employee held for taking bribe

Kathamndu, Mar.12: Munnu Kumar Das, a Non-Gazetted Second Class Officer(kharidar) at the Land Reform and Land Revenue Office Jaleshwor, Mahottari, has been arrested with a bribe money.

A team from the  Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority arrested Das, a lawyer, Jivachha Mahato, apprehended government employees in line with accepting a bribe of Rs 35,000 from a service recipient on the pretext of facilitating a trial check of the land and improving it on the map.

A team deployed from the Office of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Bardibas, arrested Munnu Kumar Das and Jivachha Mahato while taking a bribe from service recipients and has taken further action.
