Belbari (Morang), March 11: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has urged the youths and students not to flock abroad, instead engage themselves in nation-building.
Addressing the 13th convocation ceremony of the Purbanchal University here today, PM Oli, also Chancellor of the University, emphasized the need to serve country and people with honesty.
Oli viewed that the knowledge acquired from the University should be applied for the greater good of the country. He said that the incumbent government was making every possible effort to create an enabling environment for this.
The Head of the Government pledged federal government's full support and cooperation for the development of the University.
On the occasion, altogether 8,150 students from various faculties were conferred degree certificates, shared Tek Prasad Adhikari, Information Officer at the University.
According to him, 204 students graduated in Arts faculty, 497 in Law, 906 in Education and 2,249 in Management.
Similarly, 2,198 students from medical science, 654 from science and technology and 1,442 in engineering received their graduate degrees, according to the University.(RSS)
