Holi begins with erection of Chir at Basantapur (Photo Feature)

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 7: With the installation of Chir at Basantapur on Friday, the Holi festival has formally started.

A wooden pole 'Chir' has been put up at the Hanumandhoka Palace this morning.

Holi festival is going to be celebrated in the Hilly and Terai regions on March 13 and 14 respectively.
