Stable politics thru stable govt: General Secretary Pokharel

Galkot (Baglung), March 6: General Secretary of the CPN UML, Shankar Pokharel, has said political stability could be achieved only through a stable government.

UML has a resolve to lift country out of vicious cycle of instability, he shared.     

General Secretary Pokharel said it while addressing a district level interaction organized as part of the party's campaign focused on ward level. Frequent changes in alliance and government are reasons behind instability in the country, he argued.     

Opportunism and bargaining have caused instability of government, according to him.     

Moreover, the leader said the present coalition government would not own up the wrong works of Maoist Centre and subsequent. The trend of running coalition government for vested interest has come to an end, Pokharel asserted.     

District chairman of UML in Baglung, Hira Bahadur KC, informed that the campaign of organization consolidation would reach ward level after conducting political orientation.(RSS)
