Weather to remain clear in most parts of the country

Kathmandu, March 6: The Meteorological Forecasting Division said the country now has the partial impact of westerly low pressure system and the hilly region has witnessed partial changes in weather condition.    

The weather is clear in the rest of the country while light fog has occurred in some places of the Terai.    

The weather, according to the Division, will be partly cloudy in the hilly region and fair in the rest of the country this afternoon.    

Similarly, it will be partly cloudy in the hilly region and fair in the rest of the country tonight. Light snowfall is likely to occur at one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces in next 24 hours.    

As light fog is likely to occur in some places of the Terai on Friday morning, the Division has urged all concerned to remain alert of its impacts. (RSS)
