Dumre (Tanahun), March 5: The Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, Dipak Khadka, has stated that the government is committed to building a prosperous nation.
Speaking today at the inaugural session of the Fourth Dumre Cultural and Trade Festival-2081 BS in Bhanu Municipality-1, Tanahun, he said the promotion of energy and water resources plays a key role in driving the country toward prosperity. He also highlighted that these sorts of festivals and gatherings would contribute to reviving trade activities and boosting local tourism.
Meantime, when speaking to the media, the Minister denied rumours suggesting that the government was planning to remove Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Managing Director Kulman Ghising from his position.
Responding to a query from journalists that's why the NEA Managing Director scored zero in the work performance evaluation, the Minister said this is the case like a student failing an exam due to absence. According to the Minister, Ghising failed to submit his work performance sheet on time, which led to his poor evaluation. (RSS)
