Rokaya dies after falling from cliff
By Sangita Kumari Timilsina, Bajura, Mar.5: One person died after falling from a cliff in Gaumul Rural Municipality, Bajura.
A 56-year-old Dammar Bahadur Rokaya, hailing from Tandakot, Gaumul Rural Municipality-6.
He died after falling by slipping from Panikhal cliff near his house.
Dipendra Rokaya, a relative, said that he slipped and fell while cutting forage while grazing a goat.
He said that his body was found about 100 meters down in the Khonch river.
The deceased Rokaya was also a priest of Kailash and Ghatal deity.
Locals in the district have been losing their lives every year while taking care of the livestock.
