Son kills mother in Rupandehi

By Chhabilal Pandey, Butwal, Feb.14: A 21-year-old Saroj Pariyar, killed his mother of around 46 years, Parbati Pariyar, at Rato Danda of Sundarnagar, Kanchan Rural Municipality-1 of Rupandehi District.

According to the Area Police Office, Butwal after killing his mother, Saroj said to local neighbors that he had a blunt injury to his mother's eye.

According to the neighbors, Saroj was already involved in criminal activities. He was remanded and released multiple times by the police. 

Locals said that even they felt unsafe from Saroj time to time. 

The local office from Police Station Rudrapur reached at murder scene, issued a murder warrant and inquired about the incident with the locals. 

Locals said that Saroj is also mentally ill and has been involved in drug addiction for a long time.

Police have remanded Saroj for involvement in an incident and are conducting necessary investigations. 

There was only a mother and son living in the house, another son is said to be in India for foreign employment.
