Weather to remain generally fair

Kathmandu, Feb 14: As the partial impact of westerly winds continues in the country, the weather is partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces and generally fair in the rest of the country, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.    

Likewise, a thick fog has blanketed some parts of the central and eastern Tarai of the country.    

The weather, according to the Division, will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces and fair in the rest of the country this afternoon.    

Similarly, there are chances of light snowfall at one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces. Chances of slight snowfall are likely at one or two places of high hilly and mountainous region in Koshi Province.    

The weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces tonight.    

In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous region of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.    

In view of possible foggy weather condition in some parts of the Tarai on Friday morning, the Division has urged all concerned to remain alert of its partial impact on daily life, health, roads and aviation. (RSS)
