Sudurpashim, Fe 7: Foreign Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) central member Dr Arzu Rana Deuba has urged party cadres to contribute to strengthening the party.
During her address to the second district convention of the NC, Kailali in Dhangadhi on Friday, the leader wanted the party cadres to move ahead by assimilating party policies and guidelines, contribute to the party's organizational consolidation and engage in the campaign for building a prosperous nation.
As she said, the narrative being promoted with the help of social networking sites that 'nothing has happened in the country' need to be thwarted and dismissed.
She highlighted the importance of using social platforms responsibly, as tools for sharing knowledge, skills, and ideas. Additionally, she reaffirmed her ongoing efforts to ensure the safe release of Nepali citizen Bipin Joshi, who is being held hostage by Hamas.
During the event, party representative Yogendra Chaudhary recalled the NC's role in abolishing the Kamaiya system and other forms of bonded labor. The programme was presided over by the party’s district president, Narayan Dutta Bhatta.(RSS)
