Bhaktapur, Jan 29: Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister, Madhav Kumar Nepal, has said the present government would not face existential threat as long as the ruling alliance of two big parties functions well.
"The government's days depend on the number of supporters. Now, two big parties are in alliance. So, it continues as long as the alliances keep intact," he explained during a programme organized in the district on Wednesday.
The former prime minister accused the government of doing nothing to curb corruption in the country. It is wrong to make efforts to pass ordinances while there are many bills pending in the parliament, he commented.
On the occasion, Nepal handed over an ISO certificate to Dr Rajendra Koju, Principal of Rambus Secondary School, Kamalbinayak.(RSS)
