NC President Deuba condoles demise of Poudel

Kathmandu, Jan 26: Nepali Congress (NC) President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed deep grief over the demise of Chayadevi Poudel.     

NC central party office's chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel issued a condolence message on behalf of party President Deuba on Sunday and aggrieved the demise of 74-year-old Poudel of Baglung district. Paudel passed away on January 25.     

Poudel is the mother of Tekraj Poudel and Taranath Poudel, both of whom had assumed different roles and responsibilities in the party organization.     

Noting the active participation of late Poudel in democratic movements in the country, President Deuba said that the NC lost a senior personality with her demise.(RSS)
