By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Jan. 26 : Senior writer Keshar Man Tamrakar hosted a solo storytelling event on Saturday at the Chittadhar Museum, Nepal Bhasa Parishad, Tunche Galli.
Currently residing in the United States, Tamrakar has been actively contributing to the preservation and development of Nepal Bhasa literature and culture.
The programme began with a moment of silence to pay tribute to the late Tirtha Ratna Shakya, a founding member of the Birat Nepal Bhasa Literary Conference.
During the event, Tamrakar narrated two love stories and two social short stories. He also urged all citizens, both in Nepal and abroad, to preserve and promote their mother tongue.
Following the storytelling session, participating writers expressed their curiosity about the state of Nepal Bhasa literature in the United States, to which Tamrakar responded with a clear perspective.
